Star Fraction Fall Back
News #2
Quoted from The Cosmopolite:
We bid farewell to a respectable foe and thank Star Fraction for their firework display they gave us in Dital as they were leaving. It was truelly the largest scale of friendly fire we have seen and was fun to watch. :)

Operation Terminus Est Comes to an End
Earlier on today, the Concord-sanctioned war declaration against Sev3rance alliance from the Star Fraction came up for renewal and this time we chose not pay the fee. By this decision we invalidate the sanctioned war status and signal a conclusion of the Terminus Est campaign within the current 24 hour cool-down period. The Star Fraction will be ending all organized military action against Sev3rance targets in 0.0 for the time being (but will be maintaining Sev3rance at -10 diplomatic standing and considering them targets of opportunity for the future as and when they present). The Star Fraction would wish to salute all those who fought alongside us, not least the brave warriors of the Ushra'Khan who we have come to regard with respect and affection as fellow fighters for freedom.
In essence the war is over. And while the Star Fraction believe we have honoured our declaration in demonstrating consequences for Sev3rance's unprovoked attack on our vessels with an intense six-month period of hostilities, with over a thousand confirmed kills on enemy ships and attendant fiscal impact on the KBP pocket, we acknowledge that Sev3rance itself has persevered and survived our offensive. The Sev3rance alliance can hold its head a little higher in the society of slavers in Providence to have weathered the storm their pilots brought upon them through unwise acts of random aggression.
The result is therefore inconclusive and what the future brings, unknown. But be certain our grievance and casus belli remain in the absence of diplomatic reconciliation and direct hostilities may be reviewed and renewed without warning at any point in the future.
For now however the conflict is over. Once the administrative details are cleared the Star Fraction will be leaving Dihra, and all proximity of Providence, and moving to fresh skies, clear horizons and a future bright with sweet uncertainty, fresh challenges and potentials.
As always, we dare to dream.
The Freecaptains of the Star Fraction
We bid farewell to a respectable foe and thank Star Fraction for their firework display they gave us in Dital as they were leaving. It was truelly the largest scale of friendly fire we have seen and was fun to watch. :)

Triumvirate Beaten Back in Providence
News #1

Triumvirates (TRI) effort to conquer Providence has been beaten back by Curatores Veritatis Alliance (CVA) and its allies. The attack began just over a month ago and was aimed at the X-R3NM system where CVA had placed a cynojammer. The final battle was fought between CVAs (and its allies) fleet of 190 ships and Triumvirates fleet of 160 ships.
CVA has been involved in what it calls Operation Deliverance for a long time in Providence. The goal of the operation is to develop the region as an extension of the Amarrian Empire.
Triumvirates first operation against CVA was to take over the Misaba System. This system is a choke point through which traffic in Domain travels to Providence. This action crippled CVAs transportation and logistics networks, and began a period of guerilla warfare on the part of the Amarrian defenders to counter Triumvirates efforts.
Triumvirate countered by trying to force a fleet engagement by attacking X-R3NM where CVA has considerable assets including an outpost. This battle ended with heavy losses on both sides.
Later, Triumvirate attacked the system again and was able to damage the systems cynojammer and three of CVAs POSs. CVA, along with several allies, countered with a large fleet and drove Triumvirate out of the system.
Finally, Triumvirate mounted a third operation against X-R3NM. Hardin, of CVA, characterized the outcome of this battle by saying it, clearly demonstrated to the heretics and heathens CVAs (and its allies) undiminished resolve to build a safe, prosperous and civilized Providence. After this battle Triumvirate returned to its home in the North.
We fought them tooth and nail and we gave them hell, said Garreck, CEO of Amarr Border Defence Consotrium (a CVA corporation). But, he added, Having an alliance of that power and skill leave the area, well, we were happy enough to just let them go. We had a few skirmishes as they withdrew and left it at that.
WarGod, representing Triumvirate, stated that CVA met them with three or four other alliances, including Goonswarm. We were forced to pull back our 150 - 200 man fleet from a total of around 400 hostiles, he said. Lots of space distortions made even fighting out numbered, something we love doing, not even nearly possible, he added. When asked he said Triumvirate has no plans for further operations against CVA, at least not anytime soon. WarGod closed his remarks by saying we all learned a lot from it.
It appears that Providence is safely in CVAs hand for the moment, and that they can continue with Operation Deliverance. Triumvirate will have to look elsewhere for a door way into the south. !
